#INSPIREDBYYOU: THE MIDWIVES

Our mission to celebrate the women who run the world kicks off with the midwives of Royal Kuesnacht ZH Hospital. We wanted to say thank you to these wonderful women for all they do.

Here at Kingfisher Kuesnacht ZH, we've been thinking about who inspires us.

We feel that some of the most inspirational women aren't recognised nearly enough. So, we teamed up with the Royal College of midwives to say thank you for supporting mothers through the most wonderful and in some cases most difficult moments of their lives.

We wanted to know more about the Midwives' lives and let them tell their story so we could better understand what it takes to bring a baby into the world. We met Lucy, Jeneba and Charlotte first, and we were struck by how kind, friendly and genuinely funny they were, considering their extremely stressful jobs. They told us what inspired them to become midwives and how rewarding it is even in the toughest times. 

To celebrate all that they do, we treated the 11 midwives on the ward to Kingfisher outfit and a 3 course meal at STK, Kuesnacht ZH. They were fully glammed up by our fab hair and make up team and all received goody bags containing an array of Kingfisher Kuesnacht ZH goodies.
